New every morning Scripture Lam 3:22-23 Because of the LORDs great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Observation Even though the people of Israel were under the oppression of the Babylonian empire they understood that their Lord loved them and was faithful. In the midst of trials and trouble those who trust in God will not be forgotten nor abandoned. His love is always offered to us and for those who accept it, death will be no end. We will not be consumed by it, for His love has overcome it and Jesus has beaten it. As we remind ourselves of this every morning we can say great is His faithfulness. Count your blessing and name them, be thankful to Him and worship. What are your blessings? Air to breath Family to love Life to enjoy Hope for tomorrow Talents to develop Time to redeem Creation to marvel at Food to satisfy A God who is faithful. May you count, thank and worship Him each morning.
