New figures show that the Governments Start-Up Loans scheme has supported 17 businesses in Suffolk Coastal with £61,880 of loans to help them get going. This is great news for these businesses; contributing to economic growth and creating jobs. However, it could be many more and I urge anyone who is thinking of setting up a business to take a look at the scheme, which provides loans at a 6% interest rate and a mentor. The Governments aim is to make Britain the best place in the world to start and grow a business, all part of our long-term economic plan.
