New guy here with exhaust questions. Im running the speedway fenderwells on a 454 and wanting to use these 4 chrome vette side pipes that I have laying around. Speedway has the the elbow I need to join the header to the pipes and Im looking for advice on baffling the pipes. Speedway sells a 12 muffler insert that if I plate the ends I can make it fit the 4 pipes. How much noise reduction would 12 make? I leave the house early in the Am and dont want to wake the dead like the race bullets I had on my sbc S10. Wondering if I should just fab up my own inserts a little longer? Thanks
