New information hot off the press....Mackenzie still has some infection left, but blood is clean and blood work is looking good. MRI arguments have come to rest. On the left side of Mackenzies head they saw a widening of the inner ear (thats the part that communicates with the brain) and they are not sure why it is like this. They want to follow this and recheck it later to make sure that it isnt anything that needs further treatment. They are now wanting to do another MRI for the area at the base of the neck where it connects to the spine. This area they said appears to be enlarged and therefor they would like her to see the nuerologist look into this matter. So for now continuing iv antibiotics and motrin for pain as needed. Referral being sent to nuero docs to further investigate base of neck and as far as the widening of the left ear cannal that is something they are just going to follow. We may be able to go home in the next day or two. Please continue to pray for her as it looks like we have more to go through with all of this.
