Planning Supervisor Primary functions of jobs : This is a highly visible and critical role that ensures efficient and smooth flow of materials across the supply chain. Responsibilities include: capacity planning, create and maintain short term and long term production planning, ensure material availability, establish and achieve inventory plan. Set up departmental goals and objectives that provide world-class materials performance to the organization. Analysis customer demand/forecast to identify productions and supply bottle neck and recommend actions for resolutions. Schedule material demands to support production schedule. Proactively manage material availability and provide feedback to manufacturing on critical information. Achieve and maintain on time delivery to Customers, deliver continues improvement on supplier delivery performance, quality and cost. Leads overall supply chain initiatives and improvements. Implements optimization strategies including lean ordering and lean scheduling. Requirements: Minimum bachelor degree from reputable university majoring in industrial engineering, supply chain or similar. Minimum of 5 years material management experiences in complex manufacturing and assembly environment with extensive hands on experiences in scheduling, purchasing, inventory, planning, MRP System and supervision. Strong leadership skills, self-motivated, energetic, dependable, honest, and thorough. Strong planning, organizational, analytical, communication, and networking skills are required. Team attitude; eager to cooperate with others with exceptional interpersonal communication skills. Ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis. Exceptionally high level of commitment to the success of individuals and overall projects. Willing to put in extra effort and hours as needed. Competent with computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Access, and ERP System. SAP experiences is strongly recommended.
