New laws came into practice last month in NSW that allow land owners to clear land under certain conditions using a 10/50 rule. The new laws allow people in a designated 10/50 Vegetation Clearing Entitlement Area to: Clear trees on their property within 10 metres of a home, without seeking approval; and Clear underlying vegetation such as shrubs (but not trees) on their property within 50 metres of a home, without seeking approval. *Conditions apply To find out if this applies to you or to simply find out more visit rfs.nsw.gov.au/news-and-media/general-news/1050-vegetation-clearing
