New movie Spoilers: . . . . . . . . . . . -The film tells a story brand new to the series, set after the events of the previous movie, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods. -A battle surpassing gods begins. -Toriyama says that the story will be utterly funny. -Krillin has become a police officer, wearing a helmet, a yellow shirt with the letters SCPD (we assume that stands for the Satan City Police Department), blue shorts, a watch, black gloves, a belt, and boots. -Two new characters who will appear in the movie are Friezas soldiers Sorbet and Tagoma. A mysterious pair of planetary warriors, equipped with the latest type of battle armor. “Tagoma” in particular looks to be wearing a new type of Scouter. If you’re a soldier in Frieza’s army, you can have one made to order to fit your ear. The different screen colors can be chosen to fit the peculiarities of different aliens’ eyes, or to suit one’s tastes. Also, dual-eye types exist as well. -Frieza trains for the first time in his life - Frieza’s dialog is slightly different from the similar quote from the series, where the word henshin (“transformation”) was used; This time, it is shinka (“evolution” or “progression”). Some people think hell evolve like his brother. (Super Evolution a.k.a. 5th form) -Gohan can’t find his fighting clothes, so he ends up joining the battle looking like a nerd in green tracksuit. The magazine’s commentary, like that in Saikyō Jump earlier this month, also draws attention to the color of Gohan’s tracksuit, speculating that it might be a sign of respect towards Piccolo. -Goku does not become a Super Saiyan over the course of the entire movie because his base will be OP -Frieza uses a new version of the Death Ball technique which bears a heavy resemblance to the God of Destruction Super Energy Sphere. Goku clashes with this attack using his Kamehameha.
