New post added at News Channel 365 - Celebrities React To President Obama’s 2015 State Of The Union SpeechSource: gossipcop - Tuesday, January 20, 2015 (Getty Images) President Obama gave his 2015 State of the Union speech on Tuesday, the second to last of his presidency. The Commander-in-Chief addressed Congress, as well as notable figures on both sides of the political aisle. The speech discussed issues both domestic and foreign, including the economy, immigration, global warming, and the recent terror attacks in Paris. As has become the norm, a number of celebrities tweeted reactions to the speech in real-time, some applauding Obama’s words, others criticizing certain remarks, and a few cracking jokes. For instance, Clay Aiken, who lost a North Carolina congressional election in November, praised the President for saying, “If you want somebody who’s gonna get the job done, and done right, HIRE A VETERAN!” But James Woods tweeted, “Is this catastrophe of a President even aware of the existence of the American veteran?” Billy Eichner observed, “No joke, he said women deserve equal pay and half the audience stayed seated. Astonishing.” Judah Friedlander wrote, “Pay women the same as men & Pay workers enough money to not starve – the radical ideas of Obama. Not sure it will resonate with America.” Larry King tweeted, “#POTUS showing his fighting spirit in #SOTU.
