New post on Allaboutwriting Invitation to the July 2014 Writing Workshop in Johannesburg by allaboutwriting Editing to a publishable standard, from sentence to story Join us on Monday 14 July for our monthly writing workshop in the cosy surrounds of Croft and Co in Parkview, Johannesburg. The evening will start with a warming bowl of soup and you’ll be able to order cappuccinos, tea or soft drinks or pour a glass of wine. We’ll then move onto our usual writing exercise with feedback from Richard and Jo-Anne. The discussion for the evening will focus on ‘Editing to a publishable standard, from sentence to story’. We’ll start by analysing what goes into the editing process and we encourage you to bring your editing queries and problems for debate and discussion. We kick off at 6.45pm for 7pm, at Croft and Co, 66 Tyrone Ave, Parkview, Johannesburg. The cost of the evening is R250, payable in advance.
