New product launch number 1. A new waxing brand, its a brand I trialled after attending The Wax Show last November and fell in love. Its been a hard decision as I fully trust my usual brand but the superb results Ive been getting, the shared ethics with Outback Organics and their amazing customer service have won me over. So heres a little bit about them. I cant wait to introduce you to it. Outback Organics is a family run company located in the heart of the Somerset countryside. Fusing the latest cosmetic ingredients with innovative natural extracts from the coastline, forests and bush lands of Australia. The exotic Australian fruits and plants chosen to enhance the range are grown and harvested by indigenous people in the remote and often economically disadvantaged regions of Australia, respecting traditional culture and knowledge. We believe in supporting ethical trading practices that benefit the people who collect and cultivate the plants found in our products, and the environments they are grown in. Here are some of the botanicals found in Outback Organics products and their properties: Aloe Vera – soothing, moisturising and softening. Aniseed Myrtle (Anisata) – native to Australian east coast sub-tropical rainforests, antibacterial and antifungal, used as an antiseptic. Bergamot Orange Oil – antiseptic, with an uplifting, sweet and fruity aroma. Betaine Salicylate – hydroxy acid derivative with exfoliating and skin conditioning properties. Bush Mint – cooling and stimulating, with antifungal and antibacterial properties, the leaves are crushed and used by Indigenous people in ointments and washes to treat sores, headaches and colds. Cucumber – soothing and anti-inflammatory, reduces puffiness and swelling. Cypress Oil – astringent and antiseptic, with a smoky, woody scent. Desert Lime – native to Queensland and New South Wales, a good source of antioxidants and fruit acids, very high in vitamin C, stimulates new cell growth. Frankincense Extract – analgesic and anti-inflammatory, found in our Bush Balm to help reduce soreness and swelling after waxing. Lemon Myrtle Oil – antibacterial essential oil from Australia with a fresh citrus fragrance, used by Indigenous people as a tonic and stimulant. Macadamia Oil – rich in vitamins A and E, deeply nourishing and moisturising. Mountain Pepper – native to woodland areas in southeast Australia, antimicrobial and antioxidant, used to treat aches and pains. Organic Tea Tree Oil – one of nature’s strongest known antiseptics. The Aborigines of New South Wales in Australia discovered the power of tea tree oil after leaves fell into the water and decomposed on the ground. The tribes would then use the mud and the waters that the tea tree leaves fell into to treat various ailments. Tea tree oil is well known as a wonderful natural remedy in the treatment of countless skin conditions, including acne, cuts, scrapes, insect bites, and minor infections. Papaya and Pineapple Enzymes – natural fruit extracts with exfoliating properties. Patchouli Oil – helps to regenerate the skin and speed healing, useful for dry and irritated skin, with a rich earthy aroma. Peppermint Oil – cooling, stimulating, boosts the circulation. Sandalwood Oil – balancing, soothing and rejuvenating, with a sweet woody fragrance. Shea Butter – natural moisturising agent extracted from the nut of the African shea tree, nourishes and replenishes the skin. #organic #outbackorganics #hairfree #painlesswaxing
