New to this site. While my dad was in Vietnam, I lived on Twisted Oak Court in Forest Park 1969-1970. Memories of walking to Ridgwood Elementary School through the orange groves. The school was not built yet and had trailers as classrooms. This was very new back then. Remember getting lunch delivered from Burger Chief every Friday. (2nd Grade). When my dad returned from Vietnam, we moved to Fort Polk, LA. We moved back to Pine Hills in 1974 and lived on Pioneer Road, off of Silver Star. Memories of riding bikes to TG&Y and Dairy Queen. Lived here several years and then moved to Riviera Drive behind Meadowbrook. Graduated from Evans 1980 and joined the Army. Moved back to Pine Hills in 1984 and bought my grandparents home on Robbins Avenue off of North Lane. Moved to Montana in 1997. I loved Pine Hills. It was a great place to live. Shopping for school clothes at Lerners at Colonial Shopping Center, going to the carnival at Colonial Shopping Center, and going to the Pine Hills Drive Inn with my grandparents. Just a few of my memories.
