New traditions are popping up daily. I was cleaning the kitchen tonight and turned around to see my little sun room transformed into a Christmas room. No fireplace? Well hang the stockings from the window Above the heater/fireplace thingy. No room in the main cabin for a tree? No problem, well put it in the sunroom and move some furniture around temporarily. Hey! Lets set up the small train this year. Hell, I might even go out tomorrow and buy the pre-lit Christmas Pig lawn ornament with the Santa cap! (OK, that was just for shock value) The truth is that I havent been into Christmas for a long, long time. But, much like my birthday this year, Ive decided that its going to happen no matter how posted off I am. And seriously, I am finding new reasons every day to celebrate. Sure, a lot of things really didnt work out for me. Yeah, I got hit with a lot of them too. But hard times come, and hard times go. Right? At least thats Bruces lament is in Wrecking Ball. Right now, my focus is on celebrating Christmas, family, and friendships in my tiny little sun room. Which really holds a lot.
