NewCov CrossFit has grand opening: A fitness place is inviting the public to celebrate its grand opening in Newport, which is a reopening from its Covington location into larger space. NewCov CrossFit at 15 W. Sixth St. will have a ribbon-cutting and activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. After the ribbon is cut at 10:30 a.m., children can have fun with a Kids Obstacle Course at 11 a.m., and attendees will be offered a free work-out at noon. This gym was originally opened as CrossFit Covington in 2011.
