News Release Steele Police Department 115 South Walnut St. Steele Missouri 63877 FAX 573-695-2166 Steele Police arrest 19 year old from Steele on felony drug charges. Chief Stanfield reports that on August 2nd 2013 Steele Officers found 19 year old William Cook of Steele in possession of eight individual baggies of purported marijuana packaged for sale on the streets. William Cook was arrested by officers charging him with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute; Chief Stanfield filed report with the Pemiscot County Prosecuting Attorney and an arrest warrant was subsequently issued charging Cook with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. 19 year old William Cook is currently incarcerated in the Pemiscot County Jail in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
