News Release Wilmington Police Department - Traffic Accident Sends Several to the Hospital Tuesday, July 23, 2013 - 4:05 pm WILMINGTON, NC - A traffic accident in the 1100 block of Wooster Street sent several individuals to the hospital and caused one car to roll over. The accident happened around 2:31 pm at the intersection of 10th and Wooster Streets. The accident occurred when a black Mercedes heading west on Wooster Street ran a stop light. A red Suburban headed north on 10th Street collided with the car and caused it to roll over. Traffic was held up for more than an hour. The drivers of both vehicles and passengers were transported to the emergency room. Officers on the scene say charges will be forthcoming. The names of the drivers have not been released at this time.
