** News from the highest mountains ** More and more stray dogs at the Himalaya behave like wolf packs: They hunt in groups and kill sheeps and goats. Unfortunately even protected animals like rare birds and the Red Panda become their victims. Instead of killing these dogs (that only would increase the birth rate amongst them to fix the gap), animal welfare organisations are highly engaged to catch and neuter most of them. While the habitants were less supportive during the early beginnings of this campaign, they now are very helpful and even bring their own dogs to let them be neutered, because they do understand the problem.
