UNWITTING???? 19 senior officials involved and it was done unwittingly???? Sounds more like a conspiracy to me to defraud govt! But why, oh, why do official government-owned high-powered assault rifles end up in the hands of Communist and Moro rebels time in, time out???? Really boggles the mind! Are our police (and some military) officials really so daft? Are they really devoid of wits that they cant even process papers properly???? DOES EVERYONE NOW UNDERSTAND WHY THE UNITED STATES DOES NOT AUTHORISE TRANSFER OF MISSILES TO PH????? THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS... GOVT MILITARY AND PARA-MILITARY OFFICIALS CANNOT BE TRUSTED! From the time of Marcos until today, the US has always refused to sell even small missiles, eg., SAMs, to PH; Cory Aquinos govt begged for missiles (SAMs) too but nothing doing, US declined... and theres your answer!
