Newsletter seniors 17 June URGENT ATTENTION UMPIRING Last weeks games produced behavior from various members of our association which was not acceptable. Everyone needs to understand it is a game of netball, umpires are human beings, committee members and coaches are volunteers. We do not need to react in an aggressive manner towards anyone while we are on a netball court or on the sidelines. At all times we try and provide mentors and assistance for our training umpires. Every week we have put in place a mentor and help, every week people are unavailable for what ever reasons. We do not have enough experienced personal to deal with these situations hence the importance of having new umpires coming through and learning to umpire at a acceptable level so everyone can enjoy our game on and off the court. For this reason I have meet with the Umpire Convenor and changed game times so we can cover these situations. PLEASE READ THIS WEEK TIME SLOTS TO SEE IF THIS AFFECTS YOUR TEAM There will be no Div 1 games on the 24 June. Rattle 1 has asked if any Div one teams would like to come and play a friendly.
