Next January, were bringing a dancer all the way from Spain! Organiser of the International Oriental Dance Festival of Gijón, international guest teacher and dancer at festivals around Spain, Germany, Italy, Greece, overflowing with charisma, and personally recommended to us by Aziza, please welcome Vanesa Moreno! Vanesa will be in NZ for workshops on the 3rd and 4th of January, with more details on when and where coming soon. (And, of course, therell be a hafla on the Saturday ;) ) We could write heaps of stuff about what kind of dancer Vanesa is (and we probably will), but why not show you? Weve got a bunch of videos lined up to share, beginning with this kick ass drum solo. Right off the bat, shes got the audience in the palm of her hand, and its a delight to watch.
