Next Thursday and Friday Sept 12 and 13th we have a great thinker coming to campus. Dr. Eleonore Stump is author or editor of 16 books and over 100 other publications on topics in medieval philosophy, philosophy of religion, ethics, and metaphysics. She is past president of the Central Division of the American Philosophical Association, winner of the Cherry Award for teaching, and has twice been invited to give the Gifford lectures at Oxford University. She is widely considered to be the number 1 expert on the USA on medieval philosophy. She is also my former mentor.
