Next Thursday morning I will be driving away from Killeen, Texas for good on my way to Northeast Utah or Southeast Idaho. It has been interesting living in Killeen. I have to have 2 things to eat here in Texas before I leave though. I told my son, once he flies in Tuesday, we have to have one last chicken fried steak dinner at the Cotton Patch in Temple that evening. Then I am routing us through Abilene Thursday so we can stop and have a black angus ribeye for lunch at Joe Allens Steak House. Just have to have those two meals once more before leaving Texas!
