Next Tuesday, July 22nd the York County Area Agency on Aging will be in Browns pavilion from 9:30-11:30 to distribute 2014 Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Vouchers. These $20 free vouchers are for use at local farm markets for fresh fruits & vegetables. York County residents who are 60 years of age or older and and have a gross annual 2014 household income at or below $21,590 for a single person or $29,101 for a couple are eligible to participate. Proof of age and York County residency must be shown. Seniors who are living in a nursing home, personal care home, or other residential facilities where meals are provided are ineligible to receive vouchers. Individuals are eligible to receive the vouchers only once per calendar year. This is a program provided by YCAAA and Pa Dept of Agriculture.
