Next month is Mouth Cancer Action Month (more about that later...!) Last Friday was Mouth Cancer Awareness Day and we all attended a great course led by Eva Grayzel. The course emphasised the importance of regular screening to detect early stages of oral cancer. When you come for your regular check up, as well as checking your teeth and gums for any potential problems, we always check the whole of the inside of your mouth for warning signs of oral cancer. Your half-yearly oral checks are important! If you have any lingering ulcers, undiagnosed lumps or bumps, or red or white patches around your lips or inside your mouth or throat, please dont hesitate to call us and please dont wait for your check up. If you are worried about any of these symptoms, wed be only too happy to check them out!
