Next month, my exwife and daughter have been gone for 7 years. It took me 4 long years to begin to move proactively forward and understand hope again. Just recently I have finally, forever left my destructive pattern of behavior and rage. Everyday Satan reminds me of all the loss and destruction which has enveloped my life. He says this is your legacy, your signature. I remembered this song in the darkest abyss of my life and it has become my battle cry. Yes I have lost, yes I have acted stupid, yes I have made many poor choices, and yes (even harder to swallow) I deserve all of what has happened to me. NEVERTHELESS, more importantly, I now have my Jesus. When all alone and all is gone, he truly is all I need. When he becomes enough then he has something to work with.
