The deadly virus has resulted in more than 110 deaths. Guinea remains the center of the outbreak, with nearly 160 suspected or confirmed cases of Ebola. However, the WHO said it is not recommending any travel restrictions for the nation. Another 21 cases are suspected or confirmed in Liberia. WHO Assistant Director-General Keiji Fukuda says the current outbreak is especially challenging because it spread to over a wide area in Guinea’s southeastern region and possibly to other nations in West Africa.
