Next part! When you finally reach the changling place, you shudder, but Jafar grabs your hand. He’d shifted Elsa so that she’s standing, leaning against his chest. “Shush. They’re already here.” As Jafar speaks, he pulls you down and sets Elsa down on the ground before rousing her and shushing her. “We’re here to get your powers back.” He whispers. Elsa nods. You peer over the rock you were currently crouching behind. Scar was prowling the area. You gulp slowly. Then you see Loki hold a woman. Tanned skin. A bandeau top. A wrap skirt. You recognize her as Kida. “Jake!” You whisper frantically, shaking Jafar’s shoulder. “They have your cousin.” He follows your finger to see Kida. He gulps hard. “Why would they want Kida?” Elsa whispers weakly. “I don’t know.” Jafar looks to Elsa and sees how weak she is. “Don’t speak. Just relax.” She nods and closes her eyes. Her chest goes up and down definably. She’s fine...for now. You see Hook and Hans come into view. Loki stands, leaving Kida tied to a chair for Hans you’d guess. “How long does a power transfer take?” You whisper. Jafar takes a moment to reply. “Not long. Five minutes...Earth minutes.” He whispers back, eyes still locked on his cousin. “Then they’ll be leaving in a jiffy… we need to get Elsa in that circle to disrupt it, right?” You turn to Jafar, who only nods. “I can’t lift her and step without being heard. You probably could…” Jafar helps Elsa up and you prop her up on your shoulder. Using one foot by one foot, you manage to walk to a hiding spot closer to the circle. Hans is still guarding Kida. Honestly, you’re just surprised Scar hasn’t found you yet. “Now what?” Elsa whispers directly into your ear, her voice weak and fading fast. “We wait for that blue glow to start.” You just watch as Hook and Loki sit down in the chairs. The blue glow starts. You nod to Elsa and she nods back. You then throw her gently into the circle. She bites her tongue, but the power goes from Hook to Elsa. When the five Earth minutes are up, which took almost no time at all here, Elsa stands up dizzily but quickly regains her balance and then flees down the mountain, as you had planned, back to Arrendale. You don’t stand yet. Hook and Loki stand in shock before Hans stands up. “If Elsa’s here, so is the brat.” Hans motions Scar over. “Sniff out the brat. We’ll deal with Elsa later.” You curl up behind the rock and try not to think about what would happen if Scar found you. Unfortunately, it’s not long before you feel teeth grabbing your shirt and then you’re dragged to Hans. Scar allows you to land flat on your face at his feet before standing over you in a “you make one wrong move and you’ll regret it” stance. You’re breathing heavily, half scared to death. “So, the little brat escaped from Jafar.” At the mention of his name, Kida struggles against the chains she was tied up in. “My cousin would never be involved in such a hair-brained scheme!” She tries to get out of the chains, but cannot. “He is. He was supposed to kill the brat.” Loki shooes Scar away from you and holds you up by your elbow. “Sniff out Jafar, Scar. See if he’s here.” It doesn’t take long before Jafar is brought over by Scar and dropped in the same fashion you were. “Ouch.” Jafar just rubs his head carefully and sits up. Scar didn’t sit over him as he had you. You migrate a little closer to Jafar as Loki drops you flat on your bum. Jafar puts an arm around you and hides the lamp in his hat. You give a quick, small smile at him before letting it drop back to the scared frown. “Jafar!” Kida again pulls at the chains holding her down but is unable to break them. “Kida, stay still.” Jafar holds you close as you make a grab for the lamp. Genie could help...right? But Jafar smacks your hand away subtly. You get his message and lower your hand. “Well, it looks like we have an upset changling spawn on our hands.” Hook smacks Jafar and Loki punches you. You feel blood running down your cheek and realize that your nose is bleeding. “Serves you right.” Hook smirks. You sniffle and wipe your blood away. “What do we do with them now?” Scar snarls. “Tear them to pieces?” “No. I have something much worse for them in mind.” You gulp as Hans speaks. “What do you have in mind?” Loki speaks up. “Twist them around in each other’s skins. Why take Kida’s strength when we can give her the brat’s annoying voice too? And we can take Jafar’s brilliant mind and replace it with Scar’s lame unableness to plan ahead.” Scar snarls at Hans’s comment. You take a look around and at your situation. Kida is attempting to get out of the chains. Scar and Loki are standing to either side of you and Jafar. Hook is in front of you. Hans is behind you. So even if Jafar wanted that, you wouldn’t be able to grab it. Then Loki grabs Kida and Jafar. Do you B1) take the opprotunity to leave Jafar behind, or B2) fight to save Jafar and Kida?
