Next up itsss HorseSense Wirral :) Horse Sense Wirral was founded in 2009 after the rescue of a neglected old pony named Herbie. We are an all round Equine Welfare Organisation not just a Pony Sanctuary, we take and attend welfare calls, run training events and work alongside all other local authorities as well as running our sanctuary. There are more horses per head in Wirral than anywhere else in the UK so demand is high but we get very little public funding, leaving our Chairwoman paying 95% of all costs out of her retail advisers wage. Recently we took on 4 new shetland ponies from a home who had been distracted due to personal circumstances and since arriving they have emptied the bank accounts of all funds with their vet bills. Squeak had to undergo major surgery to remove a long standing rotting infection from her nasal cavity along with a lot of the nasal cavity itself, now we find that Jules thought to have had a simple solar abcess actually has a Keratoma which requires surgery costing £2500 plus, we desperately need any help at all to raise the money for Jules surgery as walking around on a tumor is unbearable for her, please visit horsesensewirral for more info Charity reg: 1152111, donations can be made via paypal to: horsesensewirral@yahoo thank you very much for your support xx
