Next weekend is General Conference, every year when I hear the Tabernacle choir sing, it fills me with peace and nostalgic feelings of home. I remember the safety I felt as I woke up early Sunday morning to my father cooking breakfast. My family, all still in our pjs gathered around the television to watch the broadcast, all still half asleep. Even though I may not have fully appreciated those moments as much as I cherish them now, that feeling of peace is the same peace I felt as I child. I love my Heavenly Father and Im so thankful for the peace he brings into my life.
