Next year marks the 24th anniversary of my publishing company since I started Texas Honky-Tonk Country Magazine in 91. There have been several name changes over the years -- TEXAS HONKY-TONK COUNTRY MAGAZINE, KILT COUNTRY NEWS MAGAZINE, 93Q COUNTRY MAGAZINE/93Q COUNTRY RADIO INSIDER, HOUSTON HOT COUNTRY MAGAZINE and now TEXAS HOT COUNTRY MAGAZINE. Im thinking about publishing a BEST OF edition, a collection of interviews and photos from the past 24 years -- GARTH BROOKS, BROOKS & DUNN, BILLY RAY CYRUS, TANYA TUCKER, GEORGE JONES, MARK CHESNUTT, TRACY BYRD, TIM MCGRAW, MARIE OSMOND, KENNY CHESNEY, RANDY OWEN, ALAN JACKSON and many, many more. i probably need to do a couple of volumes leading up to the 25th anniversary in 2016. thats just over a year away. i might find an artist who could do a collage of some of the country music superstars.
