Next years Plop Enduros. Need your feedback!!…… Hello Plop Enduro. After yet another successful event at Cadwell Park we’re now in the planning stages for next year already. At the moment we’ve been offered THREE dates at Anglesey, in April, July and October 2015. These have yet to be fully costed out but we’re considering making the July event the biggest one yet!! Instead of the normal 8 hour Enduro we have the option of making it a 12 hour or even a 24 hour event. :D Anglesey have everything in place now to use the circuit during hours of darkness and are keen to see us use it. Obviously tho this will impact on costs as we’d need to fund 3.5 x the normal marshalling, paramedics, circuit costs, lighting etc etc. This is where we need your feedback so we can judge whether its feasible or not. A full 24 hour event, if we filled the grid, could possibly entail costs of around £600+ per team. Obviously a lot more than normal but we’d need to know if this was acceptable to enough teams to consider if its viable. For some it’ll obviously be too much. For others it could be acceptable to take part in what would be a very unique event. Our other options are to take advantage of the longer days in July and to make it a 12-hour Enduro, or just to leave it as-is and carry on as we have up to now. Decisions decisions!! The S&D Armada would invite your comments and suggestions to gauge what might be the best options for the majority. Got to keep the Ploppers happy. Have your say!! Cheers :D ……..
