On behalf of the Tailevu Rugby Team, I write to humbly request your kind support to our provincial rugby team that is preparing for the Farebrother Challenge in the next few weeks, Saturday, October 12th. Last year Ta...ilevu Rugby progressed to top of the table and unbeaten in the Digicel Cup Competition. This year has been challenging for Tailevu but we have managed to be placed 5th. The Under 20 team however have been progressing steadily and now placed as 2nd within the FRU table. Between last year till to date, TRU has managed to secure contracts for players who have now secured international contracts. TRU is continuing to work hard to ensure that young men of Tailevu get an opportunity to use their talents to secure a future. In these next few weeks, TRU is preparing for its final preparations for the renowned Farebrother Challenge. We understand that organising such preparations is quite costly. The total budget for the preparation which includes 2 weeks of camp, gym sessions and other training preparations totals five thousand dollars ($5,000). We are humbly appealing to friends of Tailevu Rugby and the broader community who have an interest in supporting nurturing of young Tailevu citizens through sports to lend a hand in helping us raise funds. The support could either be in the form of cash or donation of food items for the players’ meals for the 2 weeks of camp.
