Nicholas Karnaze, owner of stubble & stache, is a U.S. Marine - TopicsExpress

Nicholas Karnaze, owner of stubble & stache, is a U.S. Marine Corps Special Operations (MARSOC) combat veteran and is damn good looking for a reason - The beard and skincare products he developed out of necessity are exceptionally effective (i.e. Paraben-Free, Fragrance Free, No Unnecessary Additives, No Animal Testing) and are leading the men’s grooming industry. In honor of #Veterans Day, I’m featuring this well-groomed veteran for #NewBooMonday. Stubble & Stache evolved after a good friend, Justin Hansen, was killed while conducting combat operations in Afghanistan on July 24th 2012. Justin and Nicholas served in the same special operations unit together. Following Justin’s death, Nicholas decided to grow a beard, as a coping mechanism. In doing so, he realized the need for effective beard care products and masculine skin care in general, and launched his clever Indiegogo fundraising campaign (https://indiegogo/projects/stubble-stache-beard-care-that-cares). What started as a simple goal transformed into an expanding #Veteran-owned business that manufactures cruelty free products here in the USA. The company’s mission is two-fold:, 1) provide specialized mens grooming products and 2) help fellow combat veterans by providing much needed funding for mental wound treatment and rehabilitation. Stubble & Stache donates fifteen percent (that’s right, 15%) of their profits to charities that are aggressively assisting men and women suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and other mental wounds. Starkly giving recognition to the statistic that twenty-two veterans a day commit suicide, Stubble & Stache donate products and time to numerous organizations here in the DC area, and provide annual monetary donations to both the MARSOC Foundation and The Pathway Home. As the business grows,Stubble & Stache looks to expand the number of organizations they support. Stubble & Stache is also currently expanding their product offerings and will ultimately provide a full line of men’s grooming and skin care products and expand into the soft goods market. No other mens skin and beard care company has the dedication they have to helping those suffering from the mental wounds of war. Can’t rock a beard in the work place? Not a problem, they have skin products for you too. To find out more about Nicholas and his ruggedly handsome crew, connect with them on Twitter @StubbleStache and like them on Facebook. You can also find them in the recent DC Modern Luxury Magazine (goo.gl/Tq80Ht) and look forward to their upcoming event on Wednesday for “A Gentlemens Night Out”.
