Nick Fuoco 3 hours ago near Syracuse, NY Nikstock Music Festival Returns to Owego this Weekend Event Features Krass Judgement, Elevator Death Squad, Liquid Me: 40+ Bands, 8 DJs OWEGO, NY – The hard-rocking Nikstock music festival returns to the Southern Tier as “Nikstock part II” this Friday, August 9, at Champion Speedway, 344 East River Drive, Owego, with gates opening at 10am. Nikstock part II patrons will be afforded performances by more than 40 established, and upwardly-mobile, heavy rock acts from all around the country, on two stages, during the weekend-long event. At midnight both nights, Nickstock will transform into “Insomnia” dance party, featuring a team of 8 DJs spinning dubstep, and related, until the sun comes up. Nikstock part II follows its June counterpart, which was one of the most successful in the Nikstock 28-year-history. The Nikstock part II line-up features popular metal act Krass Judgement (VA), who have released 5 albums over their 15 year history, and have performed with the likes of Metal Church, Overkill, Sodom, Celtic Frost, Napalm Death, In This Moment and Testament, to name a few. Other stand-out acts include Pool of Thorns (NJ), Alice Cooper tribute act Nightmare (CA), Judas Priest tribute act Blood Stone Revival (NC), and punk rocker Bobby Hollar (NYC). The festival will include performances by popular regional acts, as well, including Liquid Me, Elevator Death Squad, Ruination, Divot, ST Dredd, and Rize. “It’s like one big family,” said founder Nick Fuoco of the Nikstock festival. “Friends come from all over the country, every year, and make it a vacation.
