Nick begs his DAD to come and spend time for him. This has gone on for years and years. If he is lucky his Dad might come by once in the summer for a while. Recently divorced, he moved to Kentucky. Nick begs him constantly. By some weird chance he came up to get Nick today. He doesnt have a car so he came up with his brother who he lives with now, Lonnie. Nick was so excited. I felt I needed to really talk to randal about all Nick has gone thru with the cigarette allergies and how we went to the Emergency room 3 times in 2 days, and spend a 3rd day taking him out of town to another Doctor. He has suffered from a horribl upper respiratory infection, migranes and a swollen eye from all of this. Randal and Lonnie got the full story and I said he is not to be around any smoking AT ALL. I know Randal used to smoke but his wife wouldnt let him so I thought he quit. Its just that people who smoke just dont give a damn about anyone but themselves when they have this filthy death wish of a habit. So i thought we had it all straight. As they drove off, Nick in the back, Lonnie lit up and was blowing smoke like a smokestack, and it was all going back on Nick. I felt sick at my stomach. After all we have been thru with him. Ihave just been sick ever since. Why are people so ignorant of what their trashy smoking does to others? So there they went, probably at least a 3 hour drive home, and probably smoking all the way. Hope he enjoys this trip cause it will never happen again. He doesnt pay child support and hasnt in years. Well, nothing I can do for 2 weeks but worry. There goes my sleep.
