Nicola Bryans asks Hi wondering if anyone can give any advice on calming techniques? My son is 4 and has been told he has autism but we are waiting for our appointment for him to be told where on the spectrum he is. His speech is slow but improved in last year! But im just finding when he has a tantrum i dont know what to do, nothing I do calms him and i have an 11month old and when my husband is night shift something happens and the baby wont stop crying which wakens my eldest and then he wont go back to bed wont sit/lie beside me he just stands in front of me screaming or banging his head off couch, infact tonight he wet his trousers standing in front of me which he hasnt done in a long time! I just need any advice as all im doing is crying hate seeing my son like this and i dont know what to do anymore! Thanks x
