Nigeria is Exporting Electoral Fraud? The election of Malawi will come up on May 20 but there are indications that the effervescent Joyce Hilda Mtila Banda, who has been acclaimed as a kind of new breed among the African leaders, might be soiling her hands in bad deal. Activists and concerned citizens are already weary of the elections although by all permutation and combination, she will likely be elected. On March 15, the airport of the capital, Lilongwe was shut down for alleged repair work. That same day, a Nigerian airforce jet arrived with printed ballot papers as confirmed by some witnesses which the government hasnt denied. Questions arose, why that same day that the airport was shut down will such scenario play itself out? Why hasnt the government come out to say anything concerning the drama? Well, Nigeria is now contributing something to the world; electoral malpractices and scientific rigging. We all remember that immediately Obasanjos name was mentioned as the head of the African monitoring team in Zimbabwe, there was massive outcry and uproar. Nigeria is now known for something. That is cool.
