Nigeria is replete with so many christian denominations, and, sadly, with a commensurate level of corruption, everywhere! The major disease Nigeria has got is not Ebola. The major enemy Nigeria has got is not Boko Haram. The major enemies of Nigeria are greed, selfishness, covetousness, hypocrisy and unfaithfulness, all of which are energized by the so many christian denominations and their ministers, who, according to Paul, ....imagine that godliness or righteousness is a source of profit [a moneymaking business, a means of livelihood].... (1 Timothy 6:5, Amp.). Jesus Christ Himself, after He had preached to some cities with signs and wonders among them, cursed them. Why? Because they did not repent from their sins! Then He began to denounce the cities where most of His mighty works had been done, BECAUSE THEY DID NOT REPENT.... (Matthew 20-24). This shows clearly that our success as Christians, or as as a Church of Christ, is not really in making men swim in millions and billions of dollars, with cars and mansions everywhere, but rather in pointing men to JESUS ALONE, to a point where they become so FULL OF HIM but void of hypocrisy, corruption, greed, selfishness, covetousness and every form of unfaithfulness. As long as our society is full of this high level of corruption, lets stop living in the delusion that were making any positive impact . Selah.
