Night Of The Living Dead..1968..George Romero...Probably one of the most iconic horror movies ever made, it was the movie that began the what is now a billion plus dollar Zombie craze....This ground breaking movie, which was made on a shoe string budget, was the first to send people screaming and crying out of the theatre and it was also a first for casting an African American as the hero...all I know is after I saw this movie I had to sleep with the light on for six months and made escape routes for when the zombies attacked....Hes coming for you Barbara still sends chills up my spine.....
