Nikita I need to vent. I joined legalwise 5months ago out of desperation to get some kind of assistance. They advised they could. I explained my whole situation and they promised they could assist me only to find out when I needed the assistance they advised they couldnt assist me. Infact the lawyer was sarcastic and gave me the option of giving my child up for adoption, I love my son why would I want to do that? I just need his father to assist with some of the monthly expenses of his son like creche.I was so furious. Its been a year since my sons father has even bought a packet of nappies. I work so hard and to be the only one paying for everything its emotionally and financially draining. My sons father refuses to get a job and the courts advised fathers dont have to work and if he does then only can I get him to support his son. My sons father knows this and thats why he doesnt want to get a job. The law protects the fathers? What about the kids involved?dont the kids have rights? Just as much as its my responsibility, I didnt do this on my own. I dont understand the system
