Nikki Giovanni tells us like it is and with humor. She walked with Martin for civil rights. She is a professor at Virginia Tech. Traversed the awful shootings there with her students. She is a poet with a fresh perspective, uplifting for us all. This video is from 2012 in Illinois. I was particularly grateful to be there when she spoke in 2009 at the University of Rochester.
