Nine Palestinian killed after Isreali deadly attacks RK News Palestine: Israeli airstrikes have killed at least nine Palestinian from the armed wings of Hamas and Fatah, making it their highest single death toll since a 2012 cross-border war. Reporsts said that two of the men from the Al Hussinin brigade, a military group belonging to Fatah, were targeted by drone strikes east of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza on Sunday. Seven fighters from the Al Qassam brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, were also killed when an air strike hit a tunnel at Rafah, in the south of Gaza. Earlier, the Israeli army carried out a drone strike against an armed group in Gaza, but the targets managed to escape, reports said. Shariat courts not legal: Supreme Court RK news New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday ruled that Shariat courts did not have any sanction of law and that fatwas could not be issued to trample upon rights of individuals. A bench led by Justice C K Prasad held that such institutions cannot issue diktat affecting the rights of the people and their decrees will be invalid and also illegal. While refraining from issuing a blanket order prohibiting parallel courts run by institutions like the Darul Qaza and Darul-Iftaa, the bench made it clear that fatwas cannot be used to punish innocent people. “No religion including Islam encourages people to punish innocents through decrees not sanctioned by law,” it said. The bench said that while there was no obligation on people to abide by their directives, clerics or institutions can issue fatwas only if parties approach them for adjudication of disputes. 7 family members injured in Anantnag RK News Srinagar: Seven members of a family were injured when an LPG lighting gas exploded in Anantnag, a police statement said. An LPG lighting gas cylinder exploded in a residential house of at Nagbal, Ashmuqam, Anantnag. Statement siad that seven family members got injured in the cylinder explosion. All the injured were shifted to District Hospital, Anantnag for treatment. Among the injured two were shifted to SKIMS Soura for further treatment. Observe complete strike on July 13: Hurriyat (M) RK News Srinagar: Hurriyat (M) has appealed to the people to observe complete strike on July 13, 2014 to commemorate the Martyrdom anniversary of the first Martyrs of Kashmir struggle , Martyrs of 13 July 1931. Hurriyat (M) has announced a two day programme on July 12, a seminar titled “13 July 1931- Statring Chapter of Kashmir freedom struggle” would be convened at Hurriyat headquarters Rajbag, a statement said. Statement further said, on July 13, a rally would be taken out from Jama Masjid srinagar after Zuhr prayers which would culminate at Mazar Shohada Naqashbandh Sahab. Thereafter collective fateh khwani and a public rally would be convened to pay tributes to the martyrs of 13th July 1931 and all Martyrs of the Kashimir freedom struggle till date.
