Nine years on since the devastation of 8th October, 2005 earthquake, I visited Kashmir and spoke to the family members who survived the catestrophy but only just. They still carry their broken existence in the world today mourning the collassal and irreplaceable loss of love and life. As the residents told me, for them, life will always remain divided between pre and post earthquake era. I heard numerous stories of woe, failing attempts to save humanity, dried tears as man s humbleness in front of the Mighty God became all too apparent but amongst all this sadness, sprung out a ray of hope as a mother told me the story of a miraculous rescue.
