No. 1/No. 3 Aggies head west for 30th annual Stanford Invitational STANFORD – Texas A&M travels out of state for the first time this outdoor season as they compete in the 30th annual Stanford Invitational this Friday and Saturday. The Aggies will be part of a field that nears 3,300 athletes from the college and high school divisions competing at Cobb Track and Angell Field on the Stanford campus this weekend. The Aggie women, ranked No. 1 in the preseason outdoor USTFCCCA rankings, and A&M men, ranked No. 3 nationally, will have a crew of 50-plus athletes traveling to Stanford following a successful outing at the Texas Relays. The meet will be streamed live on the internet via Flotrack’s premium service. Live results will be available online at rtspt/events/stanford/invite2014/. A combination of impressive fields and ideal climate often make the Stanford Invitational a destination for an abundance of distance runners.
