No Classes Again October 8 Due to Teachers’ Strike All Waukegan Community Unit School District # 60 schools will be closed for a fifth straight day on Wednesday, October 8, as the teachers’ strike will continue. During negotiations on Tuesday representatives from the Teachers’ Union and Board of Education were able to reach accords on several issues, however, the sides did not reach a full resolution. The Board again apologizes for the inconvenience this strike is causing our families and students. They look forward to reaching a fair resolution that will return students to their classrooms.
