No, FB, should not be a political platform...But I will say this is more of a heart status....First Minister of Scotland steps down...But, the dream lives on. Its the place whose people, wit, humor, and tenacity most inspire me and a place, when I visited, had visceral tears of joy when crossing the border from England to Scotland on the train from London to Edinburgh. My Grandma Lorna Irving familys roots were in Aberdeen, Scotland (who my mother always told me I most resembled)...(Aberdeen which lost the independence vote by a a landslide pertaining to the referendum..).Call me nostalgic,or crazy,(as I dont even know what % of Scottish blood I have) but the authentic and tenacious history of Scotland has always made me hope that they would one day be independent. Alas, its a NO. I understand the financial weight that is involved with separating from the UK among many other political factors, but perhaps the Utopian artist in me still dreams of living in a world where money and power, among other things, are not the means of independence from things that some citizens disagree with, but abide by, solely to survive ...But alas, REALITY had victory over the dream of the minority of Scots who wanted freedom. #thisiswhyIamanartistnotapolitician#mothertheresashouldhaveruledtheworld#Imgoingtosingasong. theguardian/politics/2014/sep/19/alex-salmond-resigns-first-minister-for-scotland
