No Fancy Photo, Just Straight Talk. Who are your heroes? The - TopicsExpress

No Fancy Photo, Just Straight Talk. Who are your heroes? The older I get the more my perspective changes about life. When I was young it was all about sports figures and movie stars. As the years passed on by, it was about music and those people behind the music of my era. Today the focus has changed dramatically. As society moves further and further away from its foundations and we become a civilization that allows our own selfish motives to rule our life, we acknowledge briefly on Sunday mornings for an hour a trinity of a belief system that seemingly our society is slowly abandoning in daily life and in our Government and our daily walk. The Father, Son and Holy Ghost. If we as Americans would do our best to bring this system back into our daily lives, our land and its people would prosper beyond imagination. Unfortunately, most of us talk the talk but don’t walk the walk. I challenge each of you believers to think about my words this week and take a stance for what’s right about community and country and support those under attack not by the devil, but by the mindless members of our society who have that look at me and how great I am attitude rather than what can I do today that is positive to help my fellow man. I encourage you to stand behind foundational beliefs steadfast and support your Church and especially your Pastor who serves you God’s word yet we dont listen. Many find it too easy to bash others and force negative influence instead of trying to truly love each other and work together for a common cause. This week I salute my Pastor Ken Carney for his Godliness in a world that is becoming Godless. It’s about making good choices. He married a person long before she would become Mayor of our city and in my opinion has been the finest one in my lifetime. They are my heroes, putting up with the daily fight of trying to do what’s right for the right reasons. They are my heroes for being steadfast with their word when others would have quit. They are my heroes for standing by me when I was being bashed by people that never took the time to know me as a person, only what gossip of the day they might feed off. I hope someday I can repay to them for the gift of happiness and loyalty they gave me with Gods word, always believing in me and seeking truth. When the storm finally left my life, God’s word prevailed. Have you ever been attacked by people with their own agenda? When they are done with you, they just move on to bash another vulnerable soul somewhere to make them feel more superior. What these people dont realize is that God is good, all the time and protects those that seek him out. We need more heroes like the Carneys. Take the time to seek those crusaders out in your life. Who are your heroes? Believe in them, it will make a difference in your life! tw
