Caller: Hey _______ referred me and said that you dj. Me: Yes, how can I help. Caller: I need a wedding dj. Me: Sorry I dont do weddings Caller: But your a dj right Me: Im not really a dj, more like a music manipulator for late night shenanigans, and I only play underground music and dont take requests. But I would be more than happy to refer you to someone who does. Caller: Can they play reggaeton Me: I am not familiar with what that is, but Im sure if you give him your music he will be able to mix whatever you want. Caller: So I would have to give the dj music to play, then what is the dj for. Me: Correct, hes like an ipod, you plug in your music and he plays it for you. Caller: So what am I paying him for? Me: To play the music, mix it, get on the microphone, and organize and play your wedding music on cue,. and bring the equipment. Caller: So basically im paying a dj to just push buttons.
