If you combine the long-term stay discount with a senior discount, your room only cost $49.23 per night at the Holiday Inn. That leaves $150.77 a day for breakfast, lunch and dinner at any restaurant you want, room service, laundry, gratuities and special TV movies. Plus they have a swimming pool, a workout room, washer and dryer, etc. Most have free toothpaste, shampoo, lotion, soap, and some a continental breakfast. And they treat you like a guest, not a patient. No worries about transportation. The city bus will pick up up at the door and with your senior discount it will be half price. No taxes to pay, no insurance, no yard work or upkeep. For a change of scenery, ride the airport shuttle and eat at one of the restaurants there. Want to change scenery. Simply move to another Holiday Inn. From city to city, state to state. TV breaks, light bulbs go out, no problem. Just call the front desk and they will take care of it and apologize for the inconvenience. If you fall, Medicare will pay for your broken hip and the Holiday Inn will upgrade you to a suite for the rest of your life. And family visits? They can check in down the hall.
