No Pain No Gain (NPNG) crew consists of two South Sudanese Australians males, Bolo and Mantist. The Brisbane inner city hip-hop and spoken word artists have been together for 2 years. They’re largely influence by Nas, shaggy and Busta rhymes. They have performed in some of the most celebrated festivals in Brisbane in the last few years such as the Zillmere Multicultural festival, the Brisbane Festival and headlined World Refugee Day festival with a turned out of 13,000 plus people. Currently they have been performing minimum of five shows a month. They have been able to sell 500 copies of cds each month during their concerts and on the streets. They have been featured in many articles; street press and newspaper such as The Courier Mail, MX, City News, Scene magazine, The Chronicle, etc. Many radio stations such as ABC Coast FM, Toowoomba City 87.6 FM, 4KW radio and 4ZZZ, have also interviewed them.
