No compromise on the boundary and integrity of Manipur : CM June 28 2013:Chief Minister O Ibobi gave a firm assurance on Friday that his government will never compromise on the boundary and integrity of Manipur in the House. Responding to a calling attention motion brought up by MLA RK Anand on the border dispute between Myanmar and India, CM Ibobi said that it will better to term the area as ‘un-demarcated area/ unsettled area’ instead of taking as a dispute zone. He also added that the countries, at present, have a good relations because of the Look East Policy. Myanmar is also hoping to get the best out of this good relation as they see a great market prospect in India. The areas that have not been settled so far are Border pillar nos. 66, 76, 78, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93 and 94.
